The French National Centre for Scientific Research is among the world's leading research institutions. Its scientists explore the living world, matter, the Universe, and the functioning of human societies in order to meet the major challenges of today and tomorrow. Internationally recognised for the excellence of its scientific research, the CNRS is a reference in the world of research and development, as well as for the general public.
This project has received financial support from the French government within the framework of the France 2030 programme IdEx université de Bordeaux.
The University of Bordeaux welcomes 56,000 students and nearly 6,000 staff members. It offers 250 Master programs, 150 Bachelor (incl. vocational) programs and 55 national diplomas in health : - Science and Technology - Law, Political Science, Economics, Management - Life and Health Sciences - Social and Human Sciences A large range of qualifications are possible, including of course a national diploma in oenology, thanks to our expertise within the domain of Vine and Wine Sciences.
Created in 2009, Bordeaux INP groups together 6 internal schools and 3 partner schools. These 9 public engineering graduate schools, members of the Bordeaux INP Nouvelle-Aquitaine Group, count 3,400 students and offer 20 engineering specialisations including 5 through apprenticeship programmes.
The Regional Council is the deliberative assembly that manages the affairs of the Region. Its areas of competence include the economy/employment, youth, regional planning, and energy and ecological transition. Since 1986, its members have been elected by direct universal suffrage for a six-year term.
FRANCE 2030
This project has received financial support from the French government within the framework of the France 2030 programme IdEx université de Bordeaux.
France 2030 aims to accelerate the transformation of key sectors of our economy through innovation, and to position France not just as a player, but as a “leader” in the world of tomorrow.
A synergy between Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Applied and Computer Sciences
The University of Bordeaux possesses a rich community of experts in quantum science and quantum technologies. Created in 2019, the motivation of QMBx is to bring together this community, ignoring the traditional boundaries between research fields and institutes.
The “Institut de Chimie de la Matière Condensée de Bordeaux” is a Joint Research Unit of the CNRS, of the University of Bordeaux and Bordeaux INP.
The ICMCB has strong expertise in solid state chemistry, materials science and chemical processing. It uses this know-how for the development of new materials and new concepts for materials synthesis, shaping and recycling, covering the application fields energy, environment, health, electronics and photonics. Recently, the ICMCB has also become active in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Paul Pascal Research Center is a laboratory of CNRS (French national research center) and the Bordeaux University.
With more than 50 years of experience in physico-chemistry, the laboratory focuses its research on soft matter, functional or molecular materials, bioengineering and biotechnologies. The CRPP is organized into 6 teams bringing together chemists, biochemists, physical chemists and physicists.
Cell Press publishes over 50 scientific journals across the life, physical, earth, and health sciences, both independently and in partnership with scientific societies.
Cell Reports Physical Science is a premium open access journal from Cell Press, which:
- showcases high-quality, cutting-edge research from across the physical sciences
- provides a unique and open forum to promote collaboration between physical scientists
- champions open science across this community and beyond
With the Power of Science, Make the Future Brighter. Based on our history of continued support for development of global scientific technologies, we will continue to offer the most suitable solution to achieve our customer's innovation towards tomorrow.
Founded in 1857 to unite and represent the chemists of France, the SCF is evolving to ensure that our organization supports the needs of the chemistry community and keeps pace with a changing world.
Founded in 1995, Chemistry Europe is an association of 16 chemical societies from 15 European countries. It publishes a family of high-quality scholarly chemistry journals, covering a very broad range of disciplines.
EKMA was established in 1991 as a consulting and service company specializing in the supply and service of laboratory equipment.
For 30 years we have been supplying laboratory equipment and equipment to industrial plants, research institutes and universities.
We represent the Japanese company Kyoto KEM – a well-known manufacturer of laboratory density meters, refractometers, viscometers and titration devices for many years.
We also offer preparative liquid chromatographs with recycling from the Japanese company JAI.
We supply equipment for petrochemical research from Grabner Instruments, Orbis BV, Omnitek and Linetronic Technologies.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) is a scientific society based in the United States that supports scientific inquiry in the field of chemistry. Founded in 1876 at New York University, the ACS currently has more than 155,000 members at all degree levels and in all fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields. It is one of the world's largest scientific societies by membership. The ACS is a leading source of scientific information through its peer-reviewed scientific journals, national conferences.
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is a learned society and professional association in the United Kingdom with the goal of "advancing the chemical sciences". It was formed in 1980 from the amalgamation of the Chemical Society, the Royal Institute of Chemistry, the Faraday Society, and the Society for Analytical Chemistry with a new Royal Charter and the dual role of learned society and professional body. At its inception, the Society had a combined membership of 49,000 in the world. The organisation carries out research, publishes journals, books and databases, as well as hosting conferences, seminars and workshops.
